Fine Burma Ruby Ring 1.32 ct, unheated, GIA

Fine Burma Ruby Ring 1.32 ct, unheated, GIA

This is a very nice vintage platinum ring, featuring a rare, unheated Burma ruby (1.32 ct) surrounded by diamonds.

Ruby: 1.32 ct weight, measuring 6.97 x 5.86 x 3.55 mm. The color is a glowy ruby red with a slight raspberry pink modifier, very typical for Burmese ruby. The ruby is only lightly included and faces up eye clean. It comes with a GIA ruby origin report, confirming the classical origin from Burma/Myanmar and the unheated condition "no indications of heating".

Diamonds: 16 round brilliant cut diamonds with a total weight of approximately 0.30 ct. Conservatively estimated (probably some are of even higher quality) the color is G-H and the clarity VVS1-VVS2.

Metal: platinum 950, stamped "Plat" (see picture) and additionally acid tested by us. Overall weight is 6.3 gram, so the ring has a very solid feel without being hefty.

Very good vintage condition with only slight traces of wear (if desired by the buyer, the platinum can be repolished to like new shine).

Currently size 8, can be sized up or down free of charge. Please inquire with the desired size.

Rubies that are entirely untreated/unheated and from the celebrated Burmese gem mines, are getting rarer and rarer, and prices are increasing constantly. We are proud to offer such a jewel with heirloom potential at a competitive price.
