A Victorian treasure, in all-original condition, featuring a superb unheated Burma ruby. What makes this ruby truly extraordinary is not only its highly saturated, bright and lively red color, but also its crystal-clear transparency with eye clean (near loupe clean!) clarity. The center ruby is flanked by a pair of fine old mine cut diamonds of considerable size, valuable stones in their own right. With its classic and eminently wearable design (sits very low on the finger!), this is a perfect engagement or 'milestone' ring.

Center stone: Unheated Burma ruby, estimated weight of 1.50 ct, cushion cut, approx. 7.30 x 5.30 x 4.09 mm

Certification: AGL (New York), confirming the unheated/untreated condition as well as the geographic origin from Burma/Myanmar

Side stones: 2 old mine cut diamonds, approx. 0.70 ct each, near-colorless, approx. VS2 clarity (graded as far as mounting permits)

Accent stones: 6 rose cut diamonds, approx. 0.06 ct total weight, of lesser quality (but in all likelihood original to the ring)

Condition: excellent, light signs of wear to the metal, consistent with age
