In this ‘All Sapphire’ ring (no diamonds whatsoever!), our goldsmith balanced ornate details with minimalist lines and shapes, for a piece of jewelry that effortlessly walks the line between tradition and modernity.

The center sapphire is a deep blue unheated Thai sapphire with a unique cut. It has very little depth, allowing a generous face up size of about 9 x 9 mm. It is fashioned into a beautiful antique-style emerald cut with large facets that reflect the light as broad flashes so typical of gemstones from the beginning of the last century. Eye clean and with high transparency, the sapphire exhibits a highly saturated, midnight blue color that will delight royal princesses and everyone else who is not afraid of the dark.

The accent stones are tiny peachy-pink sapphires, also unheated/untreated, their lively brilliance beautifully resonating with the serene blue of the center stone.

Hand fabricated in rich 18K yellow gold, the metal work is hand-engraved all-around to further contribute to the old world aesthetic of this eclectic ring.
