With an extraordinary size of over 50 carats, a luminous, rich yellow color, and an almost unprecedented level of clarity for a sapphire of this scale, this Ceylon yellow sapphire is an exceptionally rare treasure.

Entirely natural and unheated/untreated, the stone is set in a substantial platinum and 18K yellow gold mounting, with only a light sprinkling of diamonds that is not seeking to compete with the regal yellow gem.

Despite its enormous size, it remains very wearable as a cocktail ring. For a more understated format, a bespoke re-set, perhaps into a pendant or bangle-cuff, can be offered to the buyer.
